Marinated Mushrooms

I love going to the grocery store, going to their olive bar, and getting a big pint of marinated mushrooms. They are on the pricy side (upwards of $8/lb), so I thought I should just make my own. And for half the cost for the same amount, I think I definitely will do it again!

Marinated Mushrooms 



What you will need:

8oz Baby Bella Mushrooms
3 TBS Olive Oil
Juice from 1/2 Lemon (about 2 TBS)
2 TBS Freshly Chopped Oregano
2 TBS Red Wine Vinager
1 TBS Salt
1/2 TBS Freshly Ground Black Pepper


To Make:


  1. Wash and de-stem mushrooms and set aside in large bowl.
  2. Whisk spices and liquids together until well mixed.
  3. Add marinade to mushrooms and stir well.
  4. Keep at room temperature for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
  5. Serve or refrigerate, stir before serving.
